Our Summer Extended Day programming is designed to provide a summer camp experience for children and teens who need therapeutic support in a small group setting and/or 1 on 1 support throughout their days. Summer programming makes full use of the school’s campus which includes a farm, a working dairy, gardens, forests, a swimming pond and more, providing ample opportunities for artistic, practical, engaging, vocational and educational programming. Daily activities may include art, swimming, games, farming, culinary skills, wood shop, handwork, nature programming, and music.
Summer students will have the opportunity to:
Engage in enriching educational and vocational activities
Experience the unique seasonal activities of outdoor education in summertime
Improve peer relationships
Increase communication skills
Feel more confident and self-reliant
Strengthen independent living skills
Try new things and experience success

Organic lunch is provided, often made with the help of the students. Dietary restrictions are accommodated. Children can bring lunch from home if preferred.
The program will run from 9am-3pm. Extended hours are available on an individual basis for an extra cost.
Session A - Monday June 17 - Friday July 5
Session B - Monday July 8 - Friday July 26
We will offer an additional two week Linger Longer special session if there is a minimum enrollment of 6 students.
Linger Longer in Summer Days – Monday July 30 through Friday August 10th
Includes food and all related costs for one on one assistance, therapeutic services, educational and seasonally based activities, materials, etc.

Young adult programming
Young adults enrolled in our summer programming will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of vocational skills including culinary arts, farming, bookbinding, and more. They will build social skills, working together with mentors and volunteers, and leading activities for the younger summer students when appropriate.
