Young Adult Residential Program

Like most of their peers, our young adult residents with developmental challenges have a strong desire for independence and are excited to explore the world of college or work, while developing a self-directed social life only. At XYZ we provide the specialized scaffolding to make the experience of selfhood successful in a community-based setting.

Location & Transportation

Located in scenic Chestnut Ridge, New York, The Threefold Community (TFC) and Fellowship Community (FC) Campus spans 200 acres. The day program, which includes vocational training, as well as artistic activities are within easy walking distance from resident houses.  The Hungry Hollow Coop and the Threefold Café, as well as the Hand and Hoe Café are on the campus and easily accessible. All other shopping and recreational resources are within a short drive, which residents will all have opportunities to experience with staff on shopping trips, cultural excursions, or with wider community outreach.

All residents will be accompanied by staff to any off-site destination. Staff will walk with residents to day programming and drive residents to any activities that require transportation.
