Access and Affordability at Otto Specht School
At Otto Specht School, we believe every child deserves an education that honors their unique learning journey—regardless of financial means.
Providing highly specialized support—such as small classes, one-to-one guidance, therapeutic services, and individualized teaching—requires significant resources. For many families, these costs are out of reach. In some cases, while students may be entitled to tuition coverage under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the process can take time, leaving children without the immediate support they need.
The Otto Specht Fund for the Accessibility and Affordability of Education ensures that no student is denied access while families navigate this process or because they do not have the financial means to pay a full tuition. Through tuition assistance and deferrals, the Fund makes it possible for students to join our community when they need it.
As an independent school, we do not receive public funding. Instead, we rely on the generosity of supporters who share our vision of inclusive, integrative education. Every gift strengthens our ability to:
