Student Body Profile

At Otto Specht School, we provide Waldorf Education and hands-on learning for students who do not thrive in more traditional settings including other Waldorf Schools and special education programs. Students come from a variety of backgrounds and represent a diverse range of learning needs. Classifications, diagnoses, and learning profiles may include: Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Speech and Language Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Learning Disability, Pathological Demand Avoidance, Twice Exceptional, Developmental Delay, Other Health Impairment, OCD and more.

However, at Otto Specht, students are not defined by their disabilities or challenges, but are seen as integral members of the learning community and as unique and striving individuals.
