A Living Campus for Whole-Child Learning
Located in Chestnut Ridge, NY, the Otto Specht School campus offers students a setting that is both peaceful and purposeful. As part of the historic Threefold Educational Center, our school shares space with a working biodynamic farm, gardens, and open fields—all of which extend into the learning experience.
Students walk tree-lined trails to class, care for horses at the barn, and take part in seasonal activities such as making maple syrup, cleaning forest waterways, planting, and harvesting. The land itself provides natural opportunities for movement, observation, and meaningful work. This community-centered environment helps students build independence, responsibility, and connection, serving as a natural extension of our multisensory, therapeutic approach to learning.
At Otto Specht, we do more than prepare students to succeed—we give them a place to belong, contribute, and grow into who they are meant to be.
