Mihail Etropolski

Class Teacher

Mihail Etropolski comes to our school from The Waldorf School of Garden City, where, as a middle school Class Teacher, he taught and guided his class throughout the 7th and 8th grades. Mihail is also passionate about educating young students; he is a trained Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher, and has supported Nursery, Kindergarten, and lower-grade classes in Garden City.

Mihail was born in Bulgaria, and raised there until moving to Queens, NY at a young age. Today, he lives in Chestnut Ridge with his family, including three children -- and several pet fish! In his past, Mihail was a fencing coach, having co-founded and run a successful fencing studio in Queens. As a competitive fencer, he was ranked as high as fourth in the nation, represented the US at the 2010 Pan-American Games, and fencing on the 2012 National Champion team.
